Important Message About Novofem® Product Use

Use Novofem® male and feminine hygiene products as directed to achieve the desired results. Please read all directions printed on the product packaging and consult your doctor, or pharmacist, or contact us if you have any questions.

Vaginal douches should not be used more often than twice a week. If vaginal dryness or irritation occurs, discontinue use. Do not use vaginal douches when pregnant, except when advised by a physician.

A douche is not a contraceptive and should not be used to prevent pregnancy.

An association has been reported between frequent douching and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), a serious infection of the reproductive system, which can lead to infertility and/or ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. PID symptoms include lower abdominal pain, vaginal discharge or bleeding, fever, chills, nausea and vomiting.

Some Sexually Transmitted Diseases produce similar symptoms and/or frequent and painful urination, genital sores or ulcers. Douches should not be used for the self-treatment of any STDs or PID.

Do not use Novofem® Yeastgel if you have never had a vaginal yeast infection diagnosed by a doctor.

If you are experiencing any STD or PID symptoms, you may have a serious medical condition. Do not douche; consult your physician immediately.
